Review of Buddy Fruits Blended Fruit Snacks

On our way home from a trip to Pennsylvania we stopped at a truck stop convenience store to get some lunch and snacks. While I was waiting for my turkey wrap to be made at the sandwich counter I noticed that in their cooler the had some snacks for sale. In amongst other treats such as sugar free jello cubes cheese and sliced apples I found this wonderful little gem. They are called Buddy Fruits.

Buddy Fruits are a blended fruit snack, very similar to flavored applesauce you might find in a convenience cup only no spoon required and without all that sugar. They come in this cool little pouch with a nozzle at the top. You can hold it upside down and it won’t spill out and you don’t need a spoon. The Banana is my favorite, but they have so many other great flavors.

They are great to put in the kid’s lunch or a quick snack on the go, and because they don’t need refrigerator you have to worry about spoilage. We actually went and found some at our local Farm Fresh store and bought a variety of flavors for our boys to take in their lunches since school started up this week.

Buddy Fruits only have 50 calories per pouch with no sugar added and they are dairy free, and gluten free. Ingredients are simple, on the Apple-Banana pouch that I had the ingredient list was apple, banana, concentrated apple juice, and lemon juice. And best of all the pouch is completely recyclable so there is no waste.

Enjoy your time in the kitchen!

About Brian

A few years ago I had gotten really sick with a mystery infection that put me in the hospital for over a week. When I got home I wasn't much better off. I had to have foot surgery and was laid up on the sofa for awhile. In that time I watched alot of Food Network and really gained a passion for food and it's preparation, cooking for my family was something I could still do even when I wasn't feeling my best and it was a way to help myself reach a healthier goal as well. Now I find myself always looking for healthier options that still taste wonderful and with my wifes gluten allergy I have even more of a challenge of feeding everyone. Honestly ... I am loving every minute of it. Because my kitchen has become my place of Zen.

Sounds delightful! I just fanned your Facebook page. Ever heard of Little Cremes? It’s also a fruit snack kids might like.
