Looking for something fast and easy to make for dinner I found frozen burgers that are precooked and if I wanted to I could cook them in the microwave. The product I used was called Quick N’ Eat burgers from Lopez Foods.
These burgers didn’t have any bread type filler, so they seem to be gluten free as well…And they include instructions for microwave, grill, or skillet cooking. I opted to skillet cook ours for dinner one night and I added some sauteed mushrooms and onions and topped it off with Swiss cheese, then we each had a big salad on the side. It saved me quite a bit of prep time on a busy night!
Ingredients: Beef, Water, Spices, Salt, Natural Flavoring.
It’s always nice to have a few things in the freezer that Loretta can grab for a hot lunch on a busy afternoon and not have to worry about making anything. Usually if she’s busy she puts together a salad and a handful of almonds, but it’s nice to mix things up now and then and I’d prefer she toss a burger in the microwave than skip lunch all together (which I know she does, tsk tsk)
Enjoy your time in the kitchen!
Disclosure: This post was not sponsored in any way. I purchased these burgers at my local Food Lion store on a truly busy night when I wasn’t sure what I was going to make for dinner.
