The boys each get to request whatever they want to eat on their birthday. We can go out to eat or I’ll make them something by special request, and sometimes we’ll do both – go out for breakfast and cook special request dinners at home. Lucas turned 14 this month and he requested dinner on the grill and he asked Loretta to bake a root beer flavored cake he saw on Pinterest and make it gluten free. Tall order, right?
